CAROLINA YMCA SWIM LEAGUE HOME PAGE Web Site has been updated for Summer Season

The Cherokee County Family YMCA Dolphin Swim team began in the summer of 1996 as an extension of the Learn to Swim Program and has actively competed every season since.  We divide our year into two distinct seasons -- Summer and Winter.  Summer begins in mid-April, Winter begins in mid-October.

We are dedicated to the YMCA Mission and to the YMCA Competitive Swimming objectives.  At CCFY Everybody Swims - Everybody Wins.  Our meet schedule offers appropriate training and competition for everyone from novice athlete to skilled elite competitor.

We compete in age groups of: 6 & under, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and 15 & over.  While boys and girls train together, they compete separately.  We generally practice 3 days per week (refer to Practice Schedule).
